Amy Schumer called her 'Genital'? 
When you are
a stand-up comedian everything in your life tends to have a funny aspect, sometimes
even when you don’t want it to be.
Same thing
happened with our beloved Amy Schumer. Her son was born in 2019, Schumer and
her husband, Chris, named their son Gene Attell Fischer. Attell was added in
the name as a tribute to their friend and comedian, David Attell.
But recently
the happy couple realized their grave mistake and saved their son from a
lifetime of teasing.
Comedian
actress recently revealed on the latest episode of her Spotify podcast
"3 Girls, 1 Keith" that they have officially changed her
toddler's name after realizing that it sounded like "genital."
"It's now Gene David Fischer," she said of her 11-month-old son. "It was Gene Attell Fischer but we realized that we, by accident, named our son 'genital.'"
Schumer's
"Trainwreck" co-star Claudia O'Doherty who was guest starring on the
podcast episode and said she realized the name chaos.
"My mom pointed that out to me, actually," O'Doherty said. ""My mum was like, 'Amy's called her son genital.'"
